1. Timetable
Set a time table for physical activities, studies and diet, so that your children adopt them as a habit. Regular events not only prepare their mindset but also make them feel secure.
2. Play Time Outside
Promote physical play and encourage your children to play outside. Be with them when they play with other children. Spending time with other kids keeps your kids mentally and physically fit. Also, develops many qualities in your kids. They learn to listen, work in a team, understand cooperation, and follow rules.
Growing children should play outside for at least 60 minutes . You can also plan adventures like trekking or cycling with your kids.
3. Fruits and Vegetables
Encourage your kids to eat fruits and vegetables. Make a schedule of at least five times every day. Include a variety of fruits and vegetables in the diet so that young children get the necessary amounts of minerals and vitamins. Keep the potion small for young children and increase it as they get older.

4. Starchy Foods
Rice, potatoes, pasta and other starchy foods contain a lot of energy, which is important for your kids as they are naughty and play a lot. Such foods also contain fibre, minerals and some vitamins which are essential for the development of your babies. So include such food items in all their meals. Also, follow the given tips:
- Try to include high fiber in your child’s diet.
- Include grains that contain energy, minerals and vitamins.
- Do not choose sugar coated things as it can lead to tooth decay.
- Avoid noodles as they are high in salt and fat.
- Feed babies boiled, baked or mashed potatoes, but keep them away from fried chips.
5. Lots of water
A human baby is 75 percent water at birth. Therefore, this precious fluid is vital for your kids. Good water intake maintains the hydration level of your body, regulates body temperature, keeps away a lot of health problems and performs a lot of biological functions.
Children’s water needs vary according to their age.
For example, a 6-month-old baby needs 0.7 liters of water per day. Hence, you must consult a doctor and maintain the quantity as per the age of your child.
Apart from this, make it a rule for the children to drink water when they are thirsty. Do not give them any other beverages.
6. Drinks
Many packaged fruit juices and sodas are high in sugar, which can negatively impact your kids. Soda contains phosphate, which weakens bones.
You can give them fresh juice when they are above 2 years of age. You can also try some healthier alternatives like natural flavored water, coconut water, soups, cow’s milk, and plant-based milks like soy milk, rice/almond milk. Keep your Little Masters away from energy drinks, soft drinks and any other sweetened beverages.
