Nowadays there are many such things in this run-of-the-life which we are ignoring. In this era of science, we are getting advanced but it is harming us equally. Children are mostly engaged in mobile or TV only. Getting children attention in studies is a matter of concern for every parents.
Nowadays parents themselves are responsible for this behavior of child. If the parents are busy, a guest has come at home or they are talking to someone, so that the child does not disturb, they give the mobile or ask them to watch TV. Gradually it becomes a habit of the child and part of their habit. For this reason, the child starts taking less interest in studies.
Now if the mistake has been made by the parents, then they will have to rectify that mistake. Parents have to do something that the child starts taking interest in studies.
Making learning interesting for children is an important responsibility of a parent. Reading is an important activity that helps in their development and helps them move forward in the world of knowledge. Following are some simple ways in which you can make reading interesting and enjoyable for your children:
1. Timing & structure of games
Make a structure of games and toys along with studies. You can schedule a study time, such as keeping some play time after studying. It can provide them a highlight of the study time.
2. Research and Discovery
Help children get into the habit of exploring in their studies. You can inspire them to discover the amazing facts and mysteries of the other humanities.
3. Videos and Activities
After studying, you can spend time watching educational videos or participating in activities with the kids. Not only will they be entertained, but they will also learn something new.
4. Deep understanding
Have a deep understanding with your children. They will get a chance to brainstorm with you and can accumulate knowledge through mutual discussion.
5. Atmosphere of the stories
It can be interesting to study the stories in books for children. You can tell them interesting stories from around the world which will help boost their knowledge.
6. Practice Papers and Tests
Encourage your kids to solve demo papers and practice tests. This can create curiosity in them to study and will help them to measure their own progress.
7. Dealing with emergencies
Help children find solutions to emergencies during their studies. Teach them how they can solve problems and become successful.
8. Useful Resources
You can point them to useful books, websites, and education apps from which they can gain new knowledge.
9. Education and Support
You should always be available to help and do their studies regularly. Make them understand that you are always with them and are here to answer their questions in the right way.
10. Freedom and Interest
Give your children freedom in their studies and fully support their interests. Allow them to pursue in the field they are interested in.
Your role model and support are needed to make learning interesting for your children. The structure of play-toys, the motivation to investigate, the timing of videos and activities, the setting of stories, and the provision of support can all be helpful in these tasks. When you make their learning interesting, they stay interested in learning with independence and enthusiasm and are on their way to success.
